The protocol department has two sections, Hospitality and Church decorations.

HOSPITALITY

Vision

The vision of this department is to create a warm and loving environment in the church services ensuring that all guests, visitors and church members feel welcomed and appreciated.

We are committed to embracing all who enter our church with a warm welcoming attitude and provide a gracious atmosphere for our guests and regular attendees by making them all feel at home with a warm welcome and the true spirit of joy in our Lord.

About the department

The HHI-JHB Hospitality department provides a welcoming environment to all guests, visitors and church members through provision of light refreshments to guests and visitors after every Sunday service and all special functions such as conferences. The Hospitality team follows the role model of Jesus Christ our Lord who invited His loved ones to break bread with Him at His table.

The department also actively participate in events co-ordination; and is particularly responsible for managing the guests’ welfare.

The department strives to fulfil the word of God according to 1Peter 4vs8-9:“Above all, love each other deeply because love covers over a multitude of sins.  Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling” NIV.

About the Ministry

The Decorations department is responsible for the placement of existing furniture and decorations around the auditorium. The department functions with the support of professional decorators who volunteer their services to the church. The emphasis is to decorate with excellence for glory and for beauty in line with Exodus 28 v 2 “And thou shalt make holy garments for Aaron thy brother for glory and for beauty.”
